This book is not, as the author points out, a theological treatise, nor is it intended to be one! But, it is the only book that we have read that offers practical suggestions on how parents and children can together uncover the riches of the feasts of the Lord in a fun-filled manner.

This is one of the resources we have in our bible study section here at Oikos. The reason for this is that you as a Mom may not know all that is involved with regard to the feasts in the Bible. This is so beautifully done and was written by a home educating mom (Homeschooling) in Cape Town.
We suggest that families doing ‘KONOS HOW’ have this book as an accompaniment. While it was hugely supportive to us when we were doing ‘KONOS HOW’, you will also find this resource very informative and helpful for introducing your younger children to all the different Hebrew feasts.
The book is laid out in such a way that it makes it very helpful for families. Listed are activities for the family, the time of the feasts, the fulfilment of the feasts, the items you will need, understanding on the background history, games to play and stories pertaining to the feasts.
This book has blessed many, we thank the mom who wrote it. Because we have been very blessed by this resource, we now make it available to you and hope you too will be blessed by it.
This book is not, as the author points out, a theological treatise, nor is it intended to be one! But, it is the only book that we have read that offers practical suggestions on how parents and children can together uncover the riches of the feasts of the Lord in a fun-filled manner. It is full of matter-of-fact ideas and stories that will enable parents to fulfil the biblical injunction to celebrate the feasts of the Lord.
We highly recommend this book for those who are interested in discovering more about the hidden treasures of God’s kingdom.
